LasGidis Recyclers, under the auspices of SFQ ventures, recently organized an environmental advocacy program themed 'save a plastic' in Lekki and Ojo areas of Lagos. The founder, Mrs Idu Okwuosa stated that the program, which attracted volunteers across different age groups, was initiated to sensitize the public on the benefits of proper disposal of waste materials as well as recycling, in order to mitigate their impact on the environment and human health at large.
